Q4 2020 Performance of Top Zombie Games on Android in Latin America

As the year 2020 drew to a close, the undead genre remained alive and well on Android platforms across Latin America. Sensor Tower's data provides a glimpse into the performance of the region's top five zombie-themed games during the fourth quarter.

State of Survival: Zombie War from FunPlus International AG saw a notable increase in downloads, jumping from 45K in early November to a peak of 129K in the final week of December. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, rising from 358K to 518K in the same period.

Last Shelter: Survival by Long Tech Network Limited experienced fluctuating download numbers, with a high of 34K in early November before dipping to 5.5K in early December. However, the game's active users showed a decline throughout the quarter, falling from 23K to around 17K.

Last Day on Earth: Survival, developed by KEFIR, ended the year on a high note with downloads surging to 90K in the last week of December from 32K in mid-October. The game's active users also saw an increase, growing from 298K in October to over 432K by year's end.

The classic Plants vs Zombies™ 2 from ELECTRONIC ARTS maintained strong download figures, hovering around 200K each week, with weekly active users steadily increasing from 2.4M to over 2.46M by the end of December.

NetEase Games' LifeAfter saw its downloads peak at 54K in late September, later settling to 34K by the end of December. Active users showed a slight increase from 148K in late November to 191K at the close of the quarter.
